This class is for any dog six months of age or older. Its ideal for people that want to learn to train there canine pal.

By the end of the novice obedience class your dog will be able to heel ON and OFF lead. Do a three to five minute sit stay and a five to eight minute down stay all done under different types of distractions. We also teach your dog to do a stand stay as well as come when called.

The class covers all the basic obedience and teaches your dog to pay attention and respond to your commands. The goal is to teach you how to control your dog both on and off the leash under various distractions. You will learn to handle your dog in situations you are likely to encounter in everyday life. Once this course is complete, you will not only have a more obedient dog, but the companion you've always wanted.
