Novice Obedience Classes are for any dog six months or older. This class is ideal for people who want to learn to train their canine pal to heel, sit, lay down, stand, stay and come when called. The nine-week course includes an orientation meeting with the handlers/owners only, followed by eight weeks of instruction. The class not only covers basic obedience, but teaches your dog to pay attention to you and respond to your commands. The primary goal throughout the nine week course is for you to have control of your dog on and off the leash under various distractions. Each owner will learn how to handle their canine pal in situations they are likely to encounter in everyday life. Upon completion of the course, you will find you not only have a more obedient dog, but also the companion you've always wanted. |
