At Pet Village our Puppy Kindergarten classes are designed to teach puppies the basics of dog obedience through praise and motivation. We like to start training as early as twelve weeks of age, while your puppy is still in the formative period of development. The puppies are taught how to walk on a leash in heel position, sit when you stop, and most importantly, to come when called. The puppies will learn to hold a one to three minute sit/say and a three to five minute down/stay with many distractions. The class also addresses many common puppy problems such as barking, biting or nipping, jumping on people and house breaking. We also help with many other behavioral question or problems you may experience with your new puppy. Our goal in this class is to not only educate the puppies, but the owner as well. If you want your puppy to become a well mannered and obedient member of your family it all starts with Puppy Kindergarten. |
